A continuing commitment

The need

The 2023 report describes distributions of warm clothing and school supplies and the continuing need seen during visits to Solukhumbu.

What the record tells us

A March 5 fundraiser, initiated by board member Troy Yanel, helped replenish funds for further work. The report also reflects on the earlier Everest Base Camp fundraising trek and the relationship with Dilip Singh Kulung that makes local coordination possible.

Why it matters

When a child has the clothing and materials needed for school, a practical obstacle to learning becomes smaller. These projects are made possible by donors and the local people who put that support into action.
