The need

NEEF reported raising $8,100 to support 470 children with warm tracksuits, shoes and socks in a more remote part of Mahakulung. Clothing was manufactured in Kathmandu.

Why it matters

When a child has the clothing and materials needed for school, a practical obstacle to learning becomes smaller. These projects are made possible by donors and the local people who put that support into action.
